Gregan: Could return for Latics

Sean Gregan is poised to make his Oldham Athletic comeback against Huddersfield Town, who are waiting on Andy Holdsworth.

Experienced defender Gregan has been out since October with an Achilles injury, but could be involved on Saturday.

Mark Crossley is rated as only a 50-50 chance to recover from a groin problem, so on-loan Richard O'Donnell will deputise if the veteran keeper misses out.

Meanwhile, midfielder Gary McDonald (groin) and rookie striker Matt Wolfenden (hamstring) are also rated as doubtful to face the Terriers.

Oldham are also without a string of first-team players, including the likes of Lee Hughes, Craig Davies and Andy Liddell.

Huddersfield news

Midfielder Holdsworth is Huddersfield's main concern as he battles to shake off a groin problem.

He is rated 50/50 for the Boundary Park fixture, although Robbie Williams and David Mirfin could both be involved.

Terriers boss Andy Ritchie is without striker Phil Jevons due to a calf problem and Danny Cadamarteri, who is unavailable with a knee injury.

Daniel Broadbent is also sidelined after injuring his ankle in action for the reserves in midweek and he will be out for at least a fortnight.
