Richardson: Ruled out

Accrington boss John Coleman will be without influential defender Leam Richardson for the visit of local rivals Bury.

Richardson will miss the final game of the season after undergoing a hernia operation earlier this week, with the club keen to ensure the former Blackpool man is fit for the start of pre-season training at the end of June.

Stanley may also be without youngster James Bell because of a slight ankle knock and the 18-year-old defender, who made an impressive debut in the 3-1 win at Wrexham last weekend, will face a late fitness test.

Robbie Williams is still out with his long-term knee injury, but Coleman has an otherwise fully-fit squad to choose from.

Bury news

Bury boss Alan Knill will be forced to plug holes in both defence and midfield when his in-form side make a final-day trip to the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

Central defender Ben Futcher is suspended after his red card against Rochdale last weekend and midfielder Elliott Bennett has returned to Wolves after his loan spell ended.

Knill must decide who is to fill the void but long-term absentees Dave Challinor and Paul Morgan are the only injury worries.

Since Knill was appointed at the Gigg Lane helm in February, the Shakers have emerged as one of League Two's form sides and victory at Accrington could see them finish as high as 12th.
