Lester: Fit again

Top scorer Jack Lester is fit again for Chesterfield, while Notts County have doubts over two defenders.

Lester has made just one substitute's appearance in over a month after suffering a broken nose, but has had a minor operation to aid his breathing.

He could start up front for Chesterfield, while Peter Leven and Jamie Winter are available again after a knee injury and illness respectively.

However, Spireites boss Lee Richardson is likely to be without Steve Fletcher as the striker has a hamstring problem.

Notts County news

The Magpies secured their League Two status last week, but could be missing Michael Johnson and Lee Canoville for the trip to Saltergate.

Johnson has an ankle injury and Canoville a calf problem, so the duo are not expected to be risked on Saturday.

Stephen Hunt will also be rested for the game after playing through the pain barrier recently with a pelvic problem.

Kevin Pilkington is not quite ready to return in goal and midfielder Gavin Strachan misses out due to a knee injury.
