Dickinson: Missing for Hatters

Liam Dickinson has given Stockport County an injury scare, while Brentford are likely to experiment once again.

Stockport striker Dickinson suffered a hamstring injury against Chester in midweek and will miss Saturday's visit of Brentford.

However, the Hatters are hopeful he will be fit for the play-offs, with Adam Proudlock possibly starting in Dickinson's absence this weekend.

Jason Taylor picked up a knock against Chester and his place in midfield could be taken by Paul Turnbull, if he fails to prove his fitness.

Brentford news

Brentford have used the last four games to try out different players and systems, and manager Andy Scott should continue in that vein at Edgeley Park.

Ben Hamer is likely to remain in goal, having replaced Simon Brown, who was dropped following his error in the 3-1 defeat at Lincoln.

Nathan Elder has undergone an operation on his nagging knee injury and will sit out the final match of the League Two regular season.

In Elder's absence Ricky Shakes is expected to lead the line again alongside Alan Connell.
