Foster: Old Trafford debut
Manchester United can go three points clear at the top of the Premier League if they beat Bolton at Old Trafford.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side have a game in hand over Arsenal and a superior goal difference, so victory over Wanderers would give them a healthy advantage going into Grand Slam Sunday.
With Edwin van der Sar likely to be ruled out again with a groin injury, Ben Foster is set to keep his place in goal, although Tomasz Kuszczak is available again after serving a suspension for his red card against Portsmouth.
Foster would be making his first appearance at Old Trafford having impressed on his debut in the 1-0 win at Pride Park on Saturday.
Bolton earned a surprise 1-0 win over United at the Reebok Stadium earlier in the season courtesy of Nicolas Anelka's goal and they won twice at Old Trafford during Sam Allardyce's reign.
However, they have lost on their last four visits, conceding four goals on three occasions, and they head to Manchester having been beaten in their last four Premier League matches.
That run has left them two points inside the relegation places, although a shock win would lift them up to 15th place.
Manager Gary Megson is awaiting news of the fitness of captain Kevin Nolan and central defender Gary Cahill before naming his starting line-up.
Midfielder Nolan has a sore back while Cahill is struggling with the bruised foot he sustained in the early challenge by Jason Koumas which earned the Wigan midfielder a red card in Sunday's 1-0 defeat.
Matt Le Tiss is full of praise for Harry Redknapp and David James, but is baffled by Thaksin Shinawatra.
Andy Gray fears for Fulham and Bolton, but says Reading and Birmingham aren't out of the woods yet.
