Ward: Could make changes

Carlisle and Yeovil are both unbeaten in the league ahead of their clash at Brunton Park.

Cumbrians manager John Ward is expected to make changes to his side following the 4-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers in the Carling Cup.

Strikers Danny Graham and Danny Carlton are set to return in place of Michael Bridges and Gary Madine.

Madine enjoyed his first taste of first-team action on Tuesday but he is now likely to drop to the bench against Town.

Defender Josh Gowling is once again sidelined with a broken nose while striker Scott Dobie is serving the second game of a three-match suspension.

Midfielder Chris Lumsdon is still out with a back problem but Grant Smith could be in contention after coming on against QPR following a stint on the sidelines with a thigh injury.

Yeovil news

Yeovil's squad will be boosted by the return of on-loan Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for the trip to Carlisle.

Begovic did not play in the 5-1 Carling Cup defeat at Middlesbrough because Pompey do not want him cup-tied. His replacement was Canadian Josh Wagenaar.

Town are also boosted by the return of midfielder Marc Bircham, who made his comeback from injury as a substitute at the Riverside.

However, wingers Aidan Downes and Danny Schofield were both ruled out of that match with knee injuries and are racing to be fit.
