McAllister: Yet to ignite Whites
Leeds began the season as title favourites and need to start living up to that billing against Bristol Rovers.
The Whites have only one win so far and lost their last outing at Elland Road 2-0 to Oldham.
Bristol Rovers have also taken four points from their first three games, but have bagged an impressive nine goals in the process.
Leeds boss Gary McAllister is waiting on the fitness of Alan Sheehan ahead of his side's League One clash.
The defender suffered a head injury during the 1-1 draw with Yeovil last Saturday and missed the Carling Cup victory over Crystal Palace with concussion, and is yet to be given the all-clear by the doctor.
Paul Telfer is expected to retain his place in the side after impressing in the midweek win over the Eagles.
Telfer agreed terms on a one-year deal with McAllister's side after starting the season on non-contract terms at Elland Road.
First-team coach Paul Trollope will include new signing Jo Kuffour in Bristol Rovers' squad at Leeds.
Striker Kuffour completed his transfer from League Two Bournemouth on Friday morning after successfully passing a medical. He is likely to start on the bench at Elland Road.
The game is expected to come too soon for Ryan Green despite the full-back playing an hour for the reserves against Cardiff in midweek as part of his rehabilitation from a long-term Achilles problem.
Fellow defenders Danny Coles and Joe Jacobson remain sidelined with knee injuries.
Coles could return to contention within a fortnight, but Jacobson is expected to be out for at least another three weeks.
Paul Merson expects Man Utd and Chelsea to underline the gap between them and their neighbours.
