Ferguson: Will bring back Morgan

Craig Morgan is set to return for Peterborough, while Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson has no new injury worries.

Wales international Morgan missed the 1-0 defeat at Scunthorpe last weekend after turning his ankle in training but is fit to play at London Road.

However, manager Darren Ferguson will hand his regular defensive partner and former Pools man Chris Westwood a late fitness test as he battles to recover from a hamstring injury.

Left-back Jamie Day came off after 75 minutes of his first appearance of the season at Glanford Park but he will again start as he builds up his match fitness following a summer operation.

Liam Hatch has joined Darlington on loan, Josh Low is off to Cheltenham and Adam Smith has joined Kings Lynn after his contract was cancelled.

New signing Dominic Green will be on the bench after his arrival from Dagenham this week but experienced midfielder Micah Hyde is a doubt with a foot injury.

Hartlepool news

Hartlepool will be confident of securing their first away victory of the season after shocking West Brom in the Carling Cup in midweek.

Defender Ben Clark will not be rushed back from a badly sprained ankle, while midfielder Willie Boland is out after suffering medial ligament damage in last week's defeat to Stockport.

Wilson is likely to stick with the same XI which started against the Baggies, but a number of players also impressed as substitutes in the famous win.

Richie Barker and David Foley both scored after coming on with Matty Robson also looking good, giving Wilson a welcome selection headache.
