Davies: Unchanged

Chester boss Simon Davies is likely to name the same side against Bury that secured last weekend's convincing 5-1 triumph over Barnet.

Ryan Lowe capped an impressive performance with a brace against the Bees and will again line up in midfield alongside fellow scorer Kevin Ellison.

However, out-of-favour duo Tony Dinning and Paul Butler will not be part of Davies' plans having been made available for loan earlier this week.

Trialist striker Eddie Johnson failed to agree terms with City before transfer deadline day so will not be available to feature unless he agrees a deal before kick-off.

The Blues have no other injury or suspension worries to contend with as they look for their second win of the season against an unbeaten Shakers side.

Bury news

Bury manager Alan Knill has the luxury of being able to field an unchanged starting line-up.

The Shakers, unbeaten after four league matches, have no new injury or suspension problems and Knill is expected to pick from the same squad.

Bury have won three and drawn one of their games in League Two this season and saw their 100 per cent start ended at local rivals Rochdale last week after being held 1-1.

Andy Bishop and summer signing Andy Morrell should resume their partnership up front and Efe Sodje will line up alongside Ben Futcher again in central defence after recovering from a broken finger.

Danny Racchi, Ryan Cresswell, Glynn Hurst and Cameron Belford, who all started on the substitutes' bench at Spotland, will be hoping to force their way into Knill's plans at the Deva Stadium.
