Gary Megson's Bolton will be hoping to make it two wins in two games when they welcome Blackburn to the Reebok Stadium for the Lancashire derby.

Despite their position just above the drop zone, Bolton are just three points off 10th-placed Blackburn, who are bidding to defeat Gary Megson's side for the fourth consecutive time in the Premier League.

After an impressive performance and victory against West Ham at Upton Park before the international break, confidence will be booming for the Trotters as they bid for just their third Premier League win of the season.

With two tough fixtures against Arsenal and Manchester United behind them, Megson's men bounced back with a terrific performance against West Ham and, given a similar display, could make it two in a row against local rivals Rovers.

Decent start

Paul Ince's side were left licking their wounds after a disappointing display against the Red Devils last time out.

Despite that defeat, Ince's men have made a solid start to the season and have won two of their three games on the road so far this term.

Prior to the United setback, Rovers were enjoying a good run, winning three games on the bounce including theur Carling Cup tie against Everton.

Blackburn also have an impressive unbeaten record at Bolton in recent years, winning three and drawing four of their last seven league meetings.

Bolton duo Heidar Helguson and Gretar Steinsson picked up knocks while on international duty this week but both should be fit for Saturday's encounter.

Blackburn will be without midfielder Steven Reid who is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

With David Dunn also out long-term, Ince will have limited options in midfield on Sunday.

Roque Satnta Cruz (hamstring) is a doubtful but Benni McCarthy, Vince Grella and goalkeeper Paul Robinson are all fit.

Possible starting lineups:

Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, A O'Brien, Samuel, Gardner, Muamba, Nolan, McCann, Elmander, Davies.

Blackburn: Robinson, Nelsen, Samba, Ooijer, Warnock, Emerton, Olsson, Tugay, Derbyshire, Pedersen, Santa Cruz.
