Both sides will be looking to bounce back from heavy defeats in their last outings, with Stoke leaking five against Manchester United while West Brom conceded three at home to Chelsea.

Despite the defeat at Old Trafford, Tony Pulis' men have been in fine form winning three of their last six games.

Meanwhile last season's Championship winners West Brom sit bottom of the Premier League table with no wins from their last six games, conceding 17 goals in the process.

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray will take comfort from the fact that despite their league position his side are still only two points from safety.

The visitors will have to improve on their away form if they are to get anything out of the game after picking up just four points from a possible 21 on their travels.

Stoke meanwhile boast an impressive home record having won four out of their six league games at the Britannia, which indicates West Brom's 26-year winless streak in the Potteries could continue.

Team News

Stoke manager Pulis has stated that he has a selection headache up-front.

Ricardo Fuller will miss the match after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Manchester United, so Dave Kitson, Vincent Pericard and Richard Cresswell are all pushing for starts.

Otherwise the Stoke team is expected to be similar to the one that suffered defeat against United.

Meanwhile West Brom will definitely be without James Morrison. The winger was forced to pull out of the Scotland squad to face Argentina on Wednesday and is yet to recover after damaging his medial ligaments against Chelsea.

The Baggies could welcome back goalkeeper Dean Kiely after a wrist injury kept him out of the Republic of Ireland squad for the match with Poland.

The keeper has been on the bench for every single Premier League match this season and is expected to be back for Saturday.

The visitors welcomed back Leon Barnett to training after minor knee surgery but the game against Stoke may have come too soon for the defender.

Possible Starting XIs
