Pienaar: Hamstring strain
Bolton will fancy their chances of getting a result at Everton on Saturday after having a week to prepare for the Goodison Park clash.
While Wanderers have been resting up, David Moyes' side endured a gruelling, yet satisfying, FA Cup replay success over arch-rivals Liverpool on Wednesday.
Everton needed 120 minutes to see off Rafa Benitez's troops and fatigue may play a role in this weekend's Premier League encounter.
Moyes lost one player to injury on Wednesday with South African winger Steven Pienaar limping out of the game on the hour mark with a hamstring strain and he could miss out this weekend.
On the plus side for Everton they will be able to field a striker in the shape of new loan signing Jo after going with midfielders Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini up front in midweek.
Jo is sure to lead the line with Cahill set to provide support to the Brazilian striker, who failed to shine or secure regular football at Manchester City.
Andy van der Meyde finished the match against Liverpool on the left wing, although youngsters Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell both impressed off the bench in midweek and either could be handed a start.
Moyes is unlikely to tinker with his backline meaning Joseph Yobo and Lars Jacobsen remain on the bench despite recovering from their respective injuries.
Bolton's strike force will be lead by Kevin Davies after he was named their new club captain following Kevin Nolan's departure to Newcastle United.
Davies helped himself to a brace against Spurs last weekend and will surely provide more than a handful for Everton's defence.
He was partnered by loan signing Ariza Makukula against Harry Redknapp's side, but after failing to impress again Ebi Smolarek may be given the nod or Gary Megson could go with just one up front
With no fresh injuries to contend with Megson is likely to stick with the remaining players who emerged triumphant against Spurs at the Reebok.
Sebastien Puygrenier, who scored Bolton's opener last weekend, impressed at the back before tiring while Mark Davies more than held his own against Spurs' star-studded midfield and should keep his place.
Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Lescott, Baines, Osman, Cahill, Rodwell, Fellaini, Gosling, Jo.
Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Puygrenier, Samuel, Muamba, Davies, Taylor, Gardner, Davies, Smolarek.
