Alexander: Has virtually a full-strength squad to choose from
Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander has virtually a full-strength squad to choose from ahead of his side's home clash with high-flying Bournemouth.
Key defender Sean Hessey has been out injured all season with a knee problem but is edging closer towards full fitness and could soon return.
Physio Nick Reid said: "Sean Hessey is back in first-team training now after a long period on the sidelines.
"He's probably a while way from first-team action as he needs some more training and some time on the pitch in the reserves but it's good for him to be out there."
Alexander will also assess a number of players nursing minor niggles but none of the complaints are expected to rule them out of action this weekend.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe must decide whether to risk recalling Sammy Igoe.
The experienced midfielder missed last weekend's draw at Bradford due to a gashed shin and is rated 50-50 for the trip to Moss Rose.
Igoe is also not fully recovered from a knee problem and with the games coming thick and fast in the next couple of weeks, Howe could opt to stick with an unchanged starting line-up with Marvin Bartley keeping his shirt.
Joe Partington returned to the bench after a lay-off with a groin injury last weekend and despite not being fully fit, the midfielder will be in the squad once again.
Josh McQuoid is back in contention after being away on international duty with Northern Ireland last weekend.
Mark Molesley (foot), Shaun Cooper (hip) and Scott Guyett are all unavailable.
