Scunthorpe will be looking to halt an alarming slump in form when they entertain high-flying Leicester.

The Iron have slipped to within two points of the Championship relegation zone after suffering four consecutive defeats.

In contrast, the Foxes sit third after winning four of their last five fixtures.

Scunthorpe team news

Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the weekend.

Only striker Ben May (ankle) and defender Kenny Milne (knee), who are both long-term casualties, will be unavailable.

Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Joe Murphy will return to United's starting line-up after missing out against Watford last week through suspension. Josh Lillis will return to the bench as a result.

Midfielder Grant McCann could return to the side as well after missing out at Vicarage Road, while Michael O'Connor will also hope to be involved.

Leicester team news

Captain Matt Oakley returns from suspension to give Leicester boss Nigel Pearson an almost fully-fit squad to choose from for the trip to Glanford Park.

The midfielder served a one-match ban as the Foxes secured a 1-0 home win over Plymouth last week courtesy of Andy King's injury-time strike. But it could be King that makes way to accommodate the skipper's return.

Pearson said: "This kind of selection dilemma is a welcome one. I'd always rather have the full squad to choose from. It presents a different challenge.

"I don't see it as a problem. It is nice to have selection issues, it keeps people guessing."

DJ Campbell has joined Championship rivals Derby on loan. The striker has regularly been on the bench since coming back into the reckoning almost two months ago but has made only three appearances.

Defender Aleksandar Tunchev (knee) and midfielder Stephen Clemence (heel) remain the only absentees with long-term injuries.
