Hibernian will be looking to maintain their fine form against a Falkirk side at the bottom of the SPL table.

Hibernian will give a '50-50' Kevin McBride until the last minute to overcome an ankle injury in time for the game.

McBride, who was forced off after just 17 minutes of last weekend's 1-1 draw at St Mirren, is Hibs' only ever-present in the SPL this season.

Fellow midfielder Merouane Zemmama is expected to return from a groin problem, defender Sol Bamba should be fit to continue after having an injection in his troublesome knee injury, but Kevin McCann (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Falkirk news

Falkirk hope to complete the signing of Toufik Zerara ahead of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at Hibernian.

The 23-year-old French midfielder will be on the bench if Falkirk receive international clearance in time.

Alex MacDonald should return from a groin injury but Sean Lynch, Mark Stewart, Jackie McNamara, Kjartan Finnbogason, Burton O'Brien and Tam Scobbie are still out.
