Two of the SPL's in-form sides meet on Saturday when Motherwell play host to Dundee United.

Well currently sit fifth in the Scottish top flight standings, and have suffered only one defeat all season.

United have also slipped up just once this term, and sit a place higher in the table their weekend opponents.

Motherwell midfielder Steve Jennings is doubtful for the crunch clash.

Jennings has missed several training sessions this week with an ankle injury but is hopeful of making the game.

Shaun Hutchinson (hamstring) and Chris Humphrey (ankle) remain on the sidelines while Paul Slane, Marc Fitzpatrick and Darren Smith are continuing their rehabilitation programmes.

Dundee United will have Mihael Kovacevic back for the trip to Fir Park.

The defender has been suffering from a calf injury but returned to training on Thursday and will be available.

Defender Garry Kenneth will not be risked but striker Jon Daly will be on the bench and youngster Keith Watson is also likely to have a place in the squad for the first time in three seasons following knee injuries.

Lee Wilkie (knee), Scott Robertson (groin) and Francisco Sandaza (groin) remain long-term absentees.
