Torquay loanees Chris Zebroski and Michael Poke are set to start in Tuesday night's League Two clash against Cheltenham.

The duo, on loan from Wycombe and Southampton respectively, would have missed the weekend FA Cup tie at Stockport, which was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Edgeley Park.

Zebroski is cup-tied having already appeared in the competition for Wycombe, while Southampton refused to allow Poke to feature.

Saturday's postponement means that Kieran Charnock remains suspended, so Gulls boss Paul Buckle is likely to stick with Chris Robertson and Mark Ellis in the centre of defence.

Forward Marvin Williams is rated doubtful for the Gulls due to a knee injury.

United have already beaten Cheltenham 3-1 on two occasions this season, away in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and at home in the FA Cup.

Cheltenham news

John Schofield is expected to keep faith with the same starting XI that brushed aside Barnet 5-1.

The Robins signalled the end of a dismal 11-match winless run by coming from behind to secure a resounding triumph over the Bees last Tuesday.

The club's FA Cup first-round defeat, ironically at Torquay, meant they did not play on Saturday and have had a week to focus on finally getting one over on the Gulls.

Tuesday's trip to Plainmoor will be their third meeting already this season, with Paul Buckle's side also taking bragging rights in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

New loan signings David Pipe and Ashley Eastham will be on the bench as Schofield continues to bark the orders in the absence of Martin Allen.

Defenders Lee Ridley and Michael Townsend (both calf) are recovering well but neither will be involved, while substitute goalkeeper Barry Richardson serves the final game of his three-match suspension. Claus Jorgensen is currently training with the Robins but is not eligible to feature.
