Hearts and Hibernian battle for bragging rights in the Edinburgh derby, live on Sky Sports 3 & HD3.

Hearts boss Jim Jefferies, who is preparing for his first derby since his return to Tynecastle has a host of injury worries to contend with before finanlising his side.

Jose Goncalves, Ryan Stevenson, Calum Elliot and Arvydas Novikovas are the latest concerns for Jefferies, who may be forced to field one or more of Andrew Driver, Craig Thomson and Scott Robinson, despite the trio having only just returned from serious knee problems.

Michael Stewart (calf), Marius Zaliukas (hamstring), Ismael Bouzid (hamstring), Marian Kello (hand), Ian Black, Ruben Palazuelos, Johnny Stewart (all knee) and Ryan Wallace all remain out.

Hibs news

Hibernian are hoping to welcome back Sol Bamba, Merouane Zemmama and Lewis Stevenson from injury.

The trio missed last weekend's Scottish Cup quarter-final against Ross County with respective shoulder, hamstring and ankle injuries but all three have trained this week.

Alan Gow (hamstring) and Kevin McCann (toe) remain sidelined for John Hughes' men, while Colin Nish serves the final instalment of his staggered three-match suspension.
