Oldham will welcome Reuben Hazell and Deane Smalley back for the visit of promotion-hopefuls Charlton.

Defender Hazell missed last week's 3-0 defeat to Yeovil with a hip injury while Smalley sat out with a chest complaint.

Both are set to feature in the Latics' final home game at Boundary Park which will be a massive boost for caretaker boss Martin Gray.

The 38-year-old is in charge for the final game of the campaign following Dave Penney's departure on Thursday.

Joe Jacobsen, Rob Purdie and Dean Furman are still sidelined while defender Hasney Aljofree was this week released.

Charlton news

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson has no new injury problems ahead of the trip North.

Defenders Kelly Youga (knee) and Grant Basey (ankle) remain long-term absentees but they are the only players missing at the weekend.

Akpo Sodje and Kyel Reid are pushing for starts having put in solid displays as substitutes in the 1-0 win over promotion rivals Leeds United last week.

Forward Leon McKenzie is back in training after a thigh tear and could be named on the bench.

The Addicks still have a faint chance of snatching automatic promotion should Leeds lose to Bristol Rovers.

They will also be relying on the clash between Millwall and Swindon finishing level in what has been an unbelievable race for a second-place finish.
