Aguero: Atletico's star man
Porto and Atletico Madrid meet at Estadio do Dragao on Wednesday just six months after their last meeting.
The two sides locked horns in the first knockout stage last season with Porto prevailing on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate draw.
Atletico have never won on four visits to Portugal with both of their previous away games against Porto ending in goalless draws.
The Spanish side have endured a difficult start to the season domestically and they were surprisingly held to a goalless draw at home to Apoel Nicosia in their opening game in Group D.
Atletico are missing injured trio Mariano Pernia, Ignacio Camacho and Raul Garcia for the trip to Portugal.
Goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo is away on international duty with Spain's under 20s side meaning Roberto Jimenez will continue in goal
Atletico midfielder Paulo Assuncao is set to start against his former club, while Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero are expected to lead the attack.
Porto are without midfielder Fernando following his sending off in the opening group defeat to Chelsea.
Cristian Rodriguez is missing with a knee injury, while full-back Miguel Lopes and Silvestre Varela are both ruled out with thigh problems.
