Kuyt: Liverpool's match-winner in first meeting
Liverpool take on Debrecen on Tuesday night in a crucial UEFA Champions League clash with their fate out of their own hands.
The Reds will have one eye on Lyon's clash with Fiorentina as they pray for the French side to do them a favour in Group E.
Liverpool must win against Debrecen to have any chance of reaching the knockout stages and hope that Fiorentina fail to overcome Lyon.
A win for Fiorentina in Italy would end Liverpool's hopes of reaching the last 16.
The Reds have made the trip to Hungary without star striker Fernando Torres as he continues to struggle with a groin problem.
Ryan Babel is also missing after picking up an ankle injury in last weekend's draw with Manchester City, while Albert Riera has been left behind on Merseyside to continue to receive treatment on his hamstring injury.
Daniel Agger has been declared fit to play despite suffering a head injury at the weekend.
Glen Johnson, who missed the draw with City has recovered from a hamstring complaint and is set to start meaning Jamie Carragher can revert to his centre-back role.
Steven Gerrard is expected to start after coming through the full 90 minutes against City, while Fabio Aurelio could return to the starting line-up after featuring as a substitute at the weekend.
Debrecen are aiming to achieve the greatest result in their history by ending Liverpool's hopes of progressing to the last 16.
The Hungarians have lost all four of their group games and a shock win against Liverpool would keep alive their hopes of finishing third and qualifying for the Europa League.
The home side are missing injured duo Robert Feczesin (knee) and Leandro (hamstring) otherwise Debrecen boss Andras Herczeg has a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Gergely Rudolf is expected to start in attack after missing the first game at Anfield.
