Hibbert: Will captain Everton
Everton manager David Moyes has pledged to give his youngsters a chance to impress in their final Europa League Group I clash against BATE Borisov.
The Toffees are already assured of their place in the round of 32 along with group winners Benfica ahead of Thursday night's meeting with the Belarus outfit.
Everton are only three points behind the Portuguese side but cannot overhaul them at the top of the group having lost home and away in their group meetings.
Moyes' men enjoyed a 2-1 success in Minsk against Viktor Goncharenko's men with Marouane Fellaini and Tim Cahill securing a come-from-behind success.
But the experienced duo will not be in action at Goodison Park with Moyes opting to rest his key men ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Birmingham.
Teenagers Jake Bidwell, Adam Forshaw and Shane Duffy will make their debuts in the starting XI, along with 20-year-old Kieran Agard and veteran goalkeeper Carlo Nash.
Versatile defender Tony Hibbert captains the side as he makes a club-record 20th European appearance, while Leon Osman returns after injury.
Goncharenko has been unable to guide BATE out of Group I, but the team founded at a Borisov tractor factory already have another season of European football to look forward to.
BATE clinched their fourth successive Belarussian title in October to secure a place in next term's UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds.
The 32-year-old Goncharenko, who moved into coaching after a cruciate ligament injury prematurely ended his playing career, has called on his side to finish their campaign on a winning note.
He said: "While this is not a very important game for us in a sense, we would like to finish with a victory.
"However we know it will be difficult no matter what team Everton put out. If you name younger players you know they will be eager to please."
