League Two promotion rivals Bournemouth and Notts County go head-to-head in the FA Cup second round.

The Cherries continue to lead the way in the fourth tier, despite taking only one win from four, and disposed of Chesterfield in round one of the cup.

The Magpies also saw off league rivals in the first round, in the form of Bradford, while they will be hoping to break out of a slump which has seen their bid to escape League Two hindered by a run of just one win in eight.

Bournemouth team news

Veteran defender Lee Bradbury is set to return from suspension for Bournemouth this weekend.

The former Portsmouth man missed Tuesday's draw with Dagenham after picking up five bookings, but he is set to reclaim his position at right-back for the visit of Hans Backe's men.

Bradbury's return will see Anton Robinson move back into midfield, with Sammy Igoe set to lose his place in the starting XI.

Igoe has only trained five times in the last eight weeks due to a combination of knee and shin injuries and, with a busy schedule ahead, manager Eddie Howe is keen to protect one of his key players.

Howe remains without Shaun Cooper (hip), Scott Guyett (knee) and Mark Molesley (foot).

Notts County team news

Leading goalscorer Lee Hughes returns from suspension for Notts County's trip to the Fitness First Stadium.

The 11-goal striker served a one-match ban as County crashed to defeat at Rochdale in the league in midweek after he was booked for the fifth time this season in the goalless draw at home to Aldershot.

Ade Akinbiyi replaced Hughes at Spotland but the former West Brom, Coventry and Oldham poacher is likely to go straight back into the starting line-up.

Magpies manager Backe is keen to avoid a replay and wants his side to lay down a marker on the south coast.

"I think it's important we win at the first time of asking and we have the quality to go to Bournemouth and win. The FA Cup is a priority so we will do everything we can to win the game as with the busy schedule coming up that is the best way to do it," said the Swede.

"After losing at Rochdale I think it is important to bounce back quickly and show the team that is the top of our league that we are strong and can beat the top teams in the division."

Striker Delroy Facey, a substitute against Rochdale, has joined League Two rivals Lincoln on loan.
