Owen Coyle will be hoping an FA Cup date with Sheffield United will see him pick up his first win as Bolton boss.

The Trotters will enter Saturday's fourth round clash still reeling from back-to-back defeats against Arsenal, but they did see off Lincoln in fine style to reach this stage of cup competition and will want a repeat of that performance in their latest outing.

The Blades, who have clambered back into the Championship play-off places of late, saw off second tier rivals Queens Park Rangers in round three.

Bolton team news

Bolton will be without the services of midfielder Mark Davies at the Reebok Stadium.

A controversial challenge from Arsenal defender William Gallas during Wednesday's 4-2 defeat at Emirates Stadium has left the 21-year-old nursing ankle ligament damage.

Coyle will also be unable to call upon Mustapha Riga (hamstring) and Joey O'Brien (knee).

Sean Davies is another long-term absentee, with a knee ligament injury set to keep him out for the remainder of the season.

Ricardo Gardner (groin) and Gavin McCann (ankle) will also miss out, while

Danny Shittu is still with Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations.

Sheff Utd team news

Mark Yeates will have to wait to make his Sheffield United debut as the winger, who has joined the Blades from Middlesbrough, is cup-tied having already featured in the competition.

Manager Kevin Blackwell has had a potentially tough selection poser taken off of his hands after defender Matthew Kilgallon joined Sunderland on Thursday.

Marcel Seip will therefore partner captain Chris Morgan at the back.

Strikers Darius Henderson, Jamie Ward and Henri Camara are all pushing for places in the starting line-up after Blackwell opted to partner Richard Cresswell with Ched Evans last weekend.
