Robbie Keane failed to find the net on his Celtic debut against Kilmarnock last Tuesday, but he will be looking to do just that in Sunday's Scottish Cup fifth-round trip to Dunfermline.

The Hoops went down to a 1-0 defeat at Rugby Park and will be desperate to get back to winning ways at the home of their Division One opponents.

The last time the two sides met was in the final of this competition back in 2007 and on that occasion Jean-Joel Perrier-Doumbe's strike earned the Hoops a 1-0 win.

Celtic will be without defensive duo Andreas Hinkel and Jos Hooiveld so Edson Braafheid could be handed his first start.

Shaun Maloney is also on the casualty list but new captain Scott Brown and defender Lee Naylor should be fit to feature.

Pars news

Dunfermline have lost just once in their last six encounters. Midfielder Joe Cardle has been in scintillating form in recent weeks and he will be their man to watch after netting five times in his last for outings.

The Pars have Graham Bayne, Steven McDougall and Stephen Glass all sidelined through injury, while central defender Neil McGregor is struggling to be in contention due to a niggling thigh problem.
