Rock-bottom Peterborough and play-off chasing Sheffield United lock horns at London Road aiming to bounce back from weekend defeats.

Peterborough manager Jim Gannon will have an unchanged squad to pick from ahead of the visit of the Blades.

Gannon saw his brief 100 per cent home record ended by Coventry on Saturday and admitted after the 1-0 defeat that his side are all-but relegated.

Dominic Green was handed his first start since last May at the weekend in place of former captain George Boyd, who was making his debut for Nottingham Forest after sealing a loan move last week.

Left-back Scott Griffiths is starting a spell on the sidelines with an adductor muscle strain so Tommy Rowe will fill in again, while club-record signing Ryan Bennett remains out.

Bennett has missed the last two games with an ankle injury and could be out for at least another fortnight but fellow defender Gabriel Zakuani is back from a groin strain.

Blades news

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has fitness concerns over one unnamed player for the clash.

Blackwell has no other new injury or suspension problems but revealed one of his squad is struggling with a knock.

Striker Darius Henderson will sit out the last game of a three-match ban and long-term absentees Gary Naysmith and Ryan France (both knee) and Derek Geary (ankle) remain sidelined.

Marcel Seip returned to the substitutes' bench at Crystal Palace, but was not used, while Henri Camara, Ched Evans and James Harper, all second-half replacements on Saturday, are pushing for returns to the starting line-up.

The Blades have lost five of their last eight league games and aim to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat at Palace in a bid to make up lost ground on the top six.
