There is sure to be a full house at the Keepmoat Stadium as Doncaster Rovers host Hull City in a Yorkshire derby on Saturday.

Both teams have four points from their opening three Championship fixtures and will be looking to return to winning ways in league action.

The teams last met in League One in January 2005 with Michael McIndoe securing a 1-0 win for Rovers.

Rovers news

Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll could welcome back midfielder John Oster for the first local derby of the campaign.

The 31-year-old has yet to feature this season after undergoing knee surgery in the summer but returned to full training earlier this week.

Oster is pushing to be included in the squad, while defender Shelton Martis could also return after missing the 4-0 defeat to Cardiff last weekend with a hamstring injury.

O'Driscoll will be keen for his side to bounce back from that defeat and also has a doubt over star striker Billy Sharp who picked up a knock in training on Thursday.

James Hayter (hamstring), James Chambers (knee) and Byron Webster (foot) remain on the sidelines.

Tigers news

Hull boss Nigel Pearson has mixed news on the injury front ahead of their short trip to Doncaster.

Defender Kamil Zayatte missed the 2-1 Carling Cup defeat at Brentford on Tuesday night with a dead leg but is set to return to the side.

However fellow defender Paul McShane is likely to be sidelined after taking a kick to the back of his leg against the Bees.

The Republic of Ireland international is being assessed by the Tigers' medical staff as they bid to find out the extent of the injury.

Midfielder Craig Fagan is likely to miss out as he battles to recover from a groin strain and James Harper is also ruled out with a fractured metatarsal.
