Team news ahead of Saturday's Scottish Premier League clash between Aberdeen and Dunfermline at Pittodrie.

Stephen Hughes will go straight into Aberdeen's after signing for the club on Friday morning.

The 29-year-old former Rangers midfielder has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Dons.

He boosts a squad still without midfielders Rob Milsom, Isaac Osbourne and Peter Pawlett due to injury.

Dunfermline are without the in-form Andy Barrowman after the striker pulled a calf muscle in the midweek defeat to Motherwell.

Captain Austin McCann could return from a hamstring problem but midfielder Paul Burns remains sidelined with a dead leg.

Manager Jim McIntyre is also without long-term absentees Paul Gallacher, Nick Phinn, Steven Bell and Steven McDougall.
