Derby v Stoke preview

Derby and Stoke will lock horns in the FA Cup for the first time in 74 years in the fourth round at Pride Park.

The Midlands rivals are battling for local pride and the ownership of bragging rights in what should be an intriguing derby game.

Stoke reached the final of this competition last year and would like another cup run to signal their continuing development as a football club.

Both teams last met in the Carling Cup in the 2008-09 campaign, with the Rams just edging that contest 1-0.

Nigel Clough's team are yet to concede a goal in 2012 after four games and will need to keep that record intact to give themselves a real chance of progress.

Nathan Tyson is unlikely to be fit as the groin injury which has restricted him to just four appearances this term has flared up again.

Midfielder Jeff Hendricks is eyeing a recall to the starting line-up after missing five games with an ankle injury.

He was a second half substitute against Burnley last weekend but could be handed a start.

Leading scorer Theo Robinson is a doubt for the Rams and may be replaced by on-loan Sunderland striker Ryan Noble. However, they are awaiting clearance from Sunderland on the matter.

Changes

Steve Davis is still out with a fractured skull, while James Bailey has returned to training having complained about feeling ill against Burnley.

Tony Pulis has already stated he will pick a "strong side" after making six changes in the previous round against Gillingham.

The Potters boss has virtually a full strength squad to choose from as Andy Wilkinson and winger Ryan Shotton are fit again.

Cameron Jerome could be handed a start and given a chance to continue his good recent form, and Kenwyne Jones could also be called in to partner him.
