An 85th minute penalty from Lewis Taylor earned non-league Horsham an FA Cup replay with Swansea and a place in Sunday's third round draw.
Taylor struck with five minutes remaining at the Atspeed Stadium to book Horsham a place in the third round hat alongside defending champions Chelsea and all the Premier League sides.
Kick-off had been delayed by 15 minutes due to torrential rain and conditions did not improve during the match, but Swansea dominated from the start.
The League One side were unfortunate not to take the lead when Warren Feeney wasted an excellent early opportunity.
However, Swansea did not have to wait long for thei deserved goal as Feeney broke down the right on 41 minutes and squared for Guillem Bauza, who scored twice in the first round, to slot home.
After the interval Swansea continued to enjoy the majority of possession and Bauza could have had a second, but the ball just ran away from him as he broke into the box.
Horsham, though, continued to battle on and they were to gain their reward on 85 minutes when Alan Tate brought down substitute Lee Farrell in the 18-yard area and Taylor calmly fired home from the spot to earn a replay.
