Adam Johnson: Impressed
England Under 21s were held to a goalless draw in their international friendly against their Polish counterparts at Molineux.
Neither side was able to break the deadlock in a tight and fragmented fixture on Tuesday evening.
England began the brighter, and Poland goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton was forced into a double save early on after he parried Craig Gardner's fizzed free-kick into the path of Luke Moore.
Pearce's side continued to build, and Cameron Jerome was denied in the 11th minute as his low strike was tipped to safety by Tyton before the Birmingham striker's tame header was easily dealt with.
Poland did impress when going forward, though, and Joe Hart was called into action after Szymon Pawlowski turned smartly and fired low.
A number of injuries restricted the flow of the remainder of the first half; however England did create just before the interval when Moore looked to run onto Hart's long ball, only to be beaten to the ball by onrushing Tyton.
The first chance of the second period came on 63 minutes when Radoslaw Majewski struck a dropping ball first-time with substitute shot-stopper Tom Heaton demonstrating excellent agility to palm over.
England struggled to break down Poland's defence, with a number of substitutions disrupting their shape, however in the 77th minute O'Hara burst onto a clever through ball from Fraizer Campbell and then drove a low cross into the box, which Campbell could not quite divert home.
Both sides pushed for the elusive winner, with Pawlowski going close in the dying stages as he dragged wide, but it never came and the encounter ended goalless.
