Arsenal lost their opening game of this summer's Emirates Cup as David Trezeguet struck the only goal of the game for Juventus on Saturday.
The France international demonstrated his predatory instincts, although he looked offside, to hand Juve victory over a youthful Gunners side.
The first half-chance of the fixture came on 14 minutes when Emmanuel Eboue's high delivery to the back post was angled left-footed straight at goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon by 16-year-old Jack Wilshere.
Nicklas Bendtner then unleashed a rasping strike wide of Buffon's left-hand post, before summer signing Aaron Ramsey demonstrated quick feet to draw a smart save from the Italian shot-stopper.
On 34 minutes, Trezeguet saw a header past Manuel Almunia ruled out for offside, but his strike just three minutes later counted, despite him straying into another offside position, as he pounced on Vincenzo Iaquinta's low free-kick.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger made a number of changes in the second period, and substitutes Emmanuel Adebayor and Bacary Sagna combined in the 63rd minute as the Togo international connected with the full-back's cross to head into the arms of Buffon.
Adebayor threatened again with 10 minutes remaining, lashing over the bar, before his curling effort in the dying moments whipped past the post to ensure Juventus claimed success at Emirates Stadium.
