Waghorn: Opened the scoring
Leicester City remain in third place in the Championship despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.
Martyn Waghorn's goal in just the third minute looked to have won the game for Leicester.
But deep into stoppage time, Martyn Woolford struck to grab a point for the home side.
The visitors should have been out of sight by the time Woolford scored and Scunthorpe were indebted to goalkeeper Joe Murphy for keeping the scoreline respectable.
Murphy denied Matty Fryatt several times throughout the game and produced a fine save from Yann Kermorgant as Leicester dominated from the first whistle.
The point will put a gloss on Scunthorpe's dismal display as they end a four game losing streak, while Nigel Pearson's men stay in third place.
Leicester could not have made a better start to the game and took the lead with just two minutes on the clock.
Waghorn outpaced David Mirfin to latch on to Jack Hobbs' header before firing past Murphy from an acute angle on the edge of the area.
The Foxes' early domination continued and top scorer Fryatt brought a good save out of Murphy from a good position in the area and then Jack Hobbs headed the resulting corner over the bar.
Leicester were totally dominant with Scunthorpe sitting deep and inviting them on and Fryatt had a golden chance to add to his nine league goals when he was sent through on goal, but Murphy stayed big and made a fine block as Fryatt tried to chip the ball over him.
The impressive Murphy was called into action again minutes later when Bruno Berner's pinpoint cross was met by Kermorgant's powerful header and the Irish goalkeeper spectacularly tipped over the bar.
Normal service resumed immediately after the break and Waghorn had a chance to double his tally but he could not get his shot passed Mirfin, with Wayne Brown missing a good chance with a header from the corner.
Waghorn drove wide as Leicester searched in vain for an elusive second goal but they just could not find it.
It did not look as if Scunthorpe were in a position to capitalise as they were struggling to create anything but Grant McCann finally called Chris Weale into action with a curling shot.
The hosts finally applied some pressure and Leicester paid the ultimate penalty for not putting the game to bed when Woolford struck home from the edge of the area in the 93rd minute to steal an unlikely point.
