Roberts: Hit brace
Gary Roberts and Lee Novak both scored braces as Huddersfield hit Dagenham and Redbridge for six to progress into the second round of the FA Cup.
The League One outfit took the lead at the Galpharm Stadium via a Robbie Williams' free-kick on nine minutes after a handball by Peter Gain.
Roberts then headed a second on 21 minutes and Novak struck his first of the night three minutes later.
The contest was all but over by half-time thanks to Jordan Rhodes' strike just before the break, but the Terriers kept pressing and further goals from Novak (56) and Roberts (72) wrapped up an emphatic win.
Paul Benson then scored a late consolation (74) to give the Londoners something to cheer about before the long journey home.
