    Image: Trotter: Hamstring injury

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's Carling Cup second-round clash between Millwall and Morecambe at The New Den.

Millwall look set to be without Liam Trotter. The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury during the first half of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Southampton and boss Kenny Jackett is waiting to hear how long he will be sidelined. Jimmy Abdou came on in place of Trotter and is likely to start against the League Two side. Jackett sprung a surprise at the weekend when he dropped goalkeeper David Forde after 141 consecutive league appearances. Steve Mildenhall, who played in the Carling Cup first-round win over Plymouth, got the nod instead and could keep his place. Midfielder Therry Racon (hamstring) and strikers Dany N'Guessan (hamstring) and Shaun Batt (cruciate) are still out. Morecambe boss Jim Bentley could again be without midfield duo Garry Hunter and Andy Fleming when his side travel to Millwall in the second round of the Carling Cup. Hunter (heel) and Fleming (ankle) have missed recent games and remain major doubts again, while Paul Scott remains the only long-term absentee. Winger Kevin Ellison will keep his place in the side after marking his first start for the club with a goal in Saturday's 2-0 home win over Aldershot. The npower League Two outfit won 2-0 at Barnsley in the previous round and have won three of their four league outings.
