    Morecambe v Exeter preview

Morecambe are still without defender Sam Lavelle as they face Exeter in their first Sky Bet League Two home game of the campaign.

The 21-year-old suffered a leg injury in pre-season and is expected to be missing until mid-September. His absence was felt on the opening day as Jim Bentley saw his side thrashed 6-0 at Crewe.

It remains to be seen if new signing AJ Leitch-Smith will feature, the forward having seen minimal pre-season action before joining the Shrimpers on a free on Wednesday.

Exeter travel to the Globe Arena having started the season with a victory over Carlisle. Grecians boss Matt Taylor is therefore unlikely to tinker with a winning formula after tasting success in his first competitive game at the helm.

One change could see West Brom loanee Dara O'Shea come into the Exeter defence. O'Shea completed a six-month loan move to St James Park earlier in the week and will be keen to be involved immediately.
