Spurs are living on a knife edge defensively, as Bale searches for Modric out on the right but Ryan Taylor cuts in and takes the ball up the right before Walker clears.
Coloccini has a great chance from the free-kick but he ends up completely clearing it! Ameobi has a pop but it goes behind goal as Spurs are let off.
Ameobi goes down under Modric as some tired tackles fly in with Newcastle earning a free-kick 40 yards out.
Friedel is fuming after Assou-Ekotto gives the ball away, with Gutierrez crossing at the near post but his effort is tired and it goes out for a goal kick.
