Northern Ireland's Euro 2016 place is already confirmed but the players are now looking to go one better by winning their group.

Northern Ireland have nothing to fear at next year's European Championships, according to midfielder Oliver Norwood.

Michael O'Neill's side secured their place in France with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Greece at Windsor Park on Thursday night.

Northern Ireland will be one of the smallest nations at the tournament, but Norwood expects his teammates to punch above their weight next summer.

"It's what you dream of as a young boy," said the 24 year-old, who has 28 caps for his country.

"You want to play at major tournaments, you watch them on TV - I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about next summer, going to France.

"We're not going there just to make up the numbers by the way, we're going there to enjoy it and see how far we can go."

The draw for the tournament is due to be held on December 12th and Corry Evans says he would relish the opportunity to face the hosts in the opening match in Paris.

"Whoever we play we know it's going to be top opposition but to play France in the opening game would be something special," said Evans.

Northern Ireland have only topped a qualification group once in their history, ahead of the 1958 World Cup in Sweden.

However, O'Neill's side will match that achievement on Sunday if they secure a point in their final Group F match against Finland in Helsinki.

Stuart Dallas is hoping his teammates can finish the qualification campaign on a positive note.

"First and foremost to represent your country at any level is obviously a proud moment but to represent your country at a major tournament would be the pinnacle of your career," said the Leeds United winger.

"Hopefully we can go out on Sunday, finish on a high and top the group."
