The midfielder attempted to stand on the advertising boards after equalising against the Dutch champions, but slipped and fell over the other side as his team-mates came to his assistance.
His mood did not improve, as Twente eventually fell 3-1 at home to Phillip Cocu's PSV in the Eredivisie on Saturday evening.
