Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Tommy O'Sullivan have extended their loan stays at Newport until January.

The Cardiff pair initially agreed one-month loan deals with the Sky Bet League 2 outfit.

But both defender Barnum-Bobb and midfielder O'Sullivan will remain at Rodney Parade until 2016, the club confirmed on Thursday.

"I am happy here, I'm playing games on a regular basis and enjoying it," O'Sullivan, 20, told the club's website.

"I went into Cardiff in the week and they were all saying well done to me, so now my aim is to keep it going.

"I just want to play as much as I can now up until January, and hopefully score a few more goals."

Barnum-Bobb, 20, added: "I came here to do well in the initial month that I was here and get as many games as I could. This extension is another chance for me to get more games, which is exactly what I want.

"I think it is a perfect fit with Cardiff and Newport being so close. People can come down to watch and that is always a good incentive for me, knowing that there is always going to be people from Cardiff observing me and that spurs me on to do even better."

Both O'Sullivan and Barnum-Bobb will both be eligible for Newport's FA Cup clash at Brackley Town on Sunday.
