Bournemouth defender Steve Cook has signed a new three-year contract which keeps him at the club until 2019.
Cook, 25, initially joined the Cherries on loan from Brighton in 2011. He has become a fixture in Bournemouth's defence, playing 35 times this season, scoring five goals.
Cook, who had one year left on his previous deal, said: "I am really pleased to have it sorted before the summer.
"It means now that I can go away with no worries and look forward to relaxing and getting ready for pre-season and then next year.
"It wasn't a tough decision for me to stay. My family love it here, I love it here and the club is obviously still growing, so hopefully I can continue to be a part of that."
Chief executive Neill Blake added: "We are delighted to secure Steve's future with us for a further three years.
"He has been a fundamental part of the team's success this season, and we look forward to sharing many more successful years together.
"It was great to be able to get this deal sorted so quickly and secure the future of such a key asset ahead of our second season in the Premier League."
