Burton have added three new players to their squad ahead of the new Sky Bet Championship season.

Former Leicester and Burnley winger Lloyd Dyer, Irish teenager Ryan Delaney and former Blackburn midfielder Lee Williamson have put pen to paper and will join the Brewers' first-team squad after training with the club.

Dyer, 33, and Williamson, 34, have both signed one-year deals with the club while Delaney, 19, has signed a two-year deal with a third year option.

Burton manager Nigel Clough said of Dyer on the club's website: "He's 33 years old and I think his experience will be vital for us this season. We are a little bit short in wide areas and Lloyd will provide that outlet especially if we are under the cosh. His pace is also going to be an asset."

The boss added: "Lee is a vastly experienced midfielder in the Championship and is the second international who's joined us in the last 10 days - quite something for Burton Albion.

"(Ryan) can play left-back or left centre half. He's only 19 and hasn't yet played at a decent level but he does a lot of things naturally. He has not been in full-time training which means he's been blowing a bit in the last 20 minutes of games but we think we can get him up to speed."
