Chinese Super League side Tianjin are interested in signing Leicester City forward Islam Slimani, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources understand there has been no formal bid for the Algeria international and no direct contact between the clubs.

Leicester broke their transfer record to sign Slimani from Sporting Lisbon last summer, spending £29m on the 28-year-old.
