Milner - who has found the net with all 11 of his penalties taken for the Reds - last scored from open play in Liverpool's 3-0 Premier League home win against his former club City in March 2016.

Milner has scored for both sides in this fixture and has another impressive stat to his name: he has scored in 46 Premier League games and has never been on the losing side on those occasions. This is a joint Premier League record along with Darius Vassell.

Milner has now scored over five Premier League goals in each of the last three Premier League seasons. If he scores on Sunday he would equal his best Premier League season haul of seven, set with Aston Villa in 2009/10. This would also be his 50th career league goal.
