Brighton would struggle to be where they are now without star winger Anthony Knockaert, according to Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan.
The Seagulls sit top of the Sky Bet Championship heading into the hectic Easter schedule, with Knockaert's contribution recognised by his Player of the Year award.
Brighton travel to Wolves, live on Sky Sports 1 and Mix, on Good Friday, knowing three points will take them even closer to promotion to the Premier League.
"The boy at Brighton, Knockaert, is brilliant and a big part of what they're doing," Bannan told David Prutton in an interview with Sky Bet.
"If they lost him, it would be a different story for them, he scores goals, creates goals and he works really hard as well and it's weird to see a flair player doing that now.
"He works hard, gets back for the team and he's got a really good winning mentality, which is rubbing off on the rest of the team.
"Every time we play them he seems to score, he's a top player in this league."
Brighton are 12 points clear of Huddersfield in third heading into the weekend, and could secure a spot in the Premier League by Easter Monday if results go their way.
