"Many clubs are interested in Ibrahimovic; from MLS in the USA, but also in Italy would be possible," Raiola said. "Napoli? Everything is possible, but I think Napoli will not be his next club."

Manchester United declined the option to extend the Swedish striker's stay at Old Trafford for a further 12 months, with Ibrahimovic expected to be out until 2018 after undergoing surgery to repair his damaged cruciate ligament.

The 35-year-old has gone under the knife in the United States to repair ligament damage suffered in United's Europa League win over Anderlecht, and Raiola has confirmed that the injury has not ended the striker's career.

Ibrahimovic was an instant success after joining United as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 28 goals in 46 appearances last season.
