Ross County have agreed a deal with Inverness Caledonian Thistle for the transfer of Ross Draper for an undisclosed six-figure fee, subject to a medical.
Draper, 28, has spent five years at the Tulloch Caledonian stadium and was a mainstay for Caley Thistle last season as they fought a losing battle against relegation from the Premiership.
The midfielder, who had previously played for Macclesfield Town, Hednesford Town and Stafford Rangers, helped Caley Thistle win the Scottish Cup in 2015 when they beat Falkirk 2-1 in the final.
Inverness chairman Willie Finlayson said: "Ross has been an outstanding servant to ICT and we are sad to lose him.
"In light of him putting in a transfer request however, and having turned down several offers by Ross County, we have reluctantly agreed to his move."
Should the deal go through, Draper will link up with his former Caley Thistle colleague Billy McKay in the County ranks.
