With Jose Molina expected to leave, only Uruguayan Gustavo Munua will have the requisite experience for next year's campaign, and the Liga side are hoping to snap up Bizarri from Second Division outfit Valladolid.
The former Real Madrid man is out of contract in June and, with Valladolid struggling to make the leap back up to the top flight, could well move to further his career.
However a stumbling block remains as, whilst contact has been made with the player, financial considerations could still scupper the deal.
The Argentinian is expected to hold out for a contract worth around é¼900,000 which would prove prohibitive for the financially stricken Depor.
No accord exists as of yet with the 28-year-old, although Deportivo president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is hopeful that an agreement can be made.
"Other negotiations are still possible," said Lendoiro.
