Israel goalkeeper Dudu Aouate insists his team-mates will be going all-out for victory against Russia. But Aouate is not looking to do England a favour in their Euro 2008 Group E qualifier, and will be playing purely for pride. The clash in Tel-Aviv will be pivotal to Steve McClaren's hopes of reaching the finals in Austria and Switzerland, as Russia can climb to second in the group with victory. Deportivo La Coruna keeper Aouate, who kept England at bay in their 0-0 draw in Israel, has no interest in the wider implications but is keen to finish their campaign on a high note.

Obligation

He told the Daily Star: "For me, the match against Russia is very important, despite the fact we don't have a chance of getting to Euro 2008. "Just like in every match that we play in, our obligation is to win. "I am a professional and the only thoughts I have are about victory because we want to finish the group with a flourish. We do have a lot of players missing - but I must say to the English that we are ready to go into battle against Russia. "But it is not all about England. The reason I want to win is very personal and it is about pride in myself and my country. It has nothing to do with trying to help England get to the finals.
Coincidence
"It is just a coincidence that if we win then we will be helping the England team out as well," he added. "If it was the other way around I would still want to win, that is all that matters to me. "I do not think there is a lot of difference between Israel and Russia - and people have to remember we actually got a draw in Moscow against them, which is a result that was better than England's."
