Season over for Leicester midfielder

Leicester captain Stephen Clemence will be sidelined for the rest of the season with a calf injury. The midfielder, who joined The Foxes from Birmingham last summer, came on as a substitute in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Scunthorpe. However, he lasted less than ten minutes before picking up a problem and had to be replaced by Bruno N'Gotty. Clemence will now play no further part in Leicester's battle against relegation but manager Ian Holloway feels he has the resources to manage. "Clemence has torn his calf muscle and that is him out for the rest of the season now," said Holloway. "You could see how dejected he was, but the good thing is we have got enough midfielders to cover that now."
